Orphan Cry in Liberia
While hosting an International student from Liberia, West Africa, over a Christmas break, Ken was introduced to Benjamin Kettor. Ben invited him to come to Liberia to see his home country. After several amazing trips and many incredible projects with Ben's help, Orphan Cry officially added Liberia to its spere of operations.
Orphan Cry has supported many orphanages in Liberia - providing food, mosquito nets, a new deep water well, constructed a new dining hall, and many other vital projects. We have also hosted soccer tournaments between orphanages, and provided new bunk beds, as well as school desks, even supported a rice farm. We have also conducted an annual pastor appreciation event for the many pastors and church leaders who work shoulder to shoulder in meeting the needs of children and families in liberia - the needs and opportunities are endless!
